I’m extremely grateful to each of you for making Executive Board 2020 one of “God’s Greatest Blessings.” I wouldn’t have made it without the Grace of God and you”! “To God be the Glory for marvelous things He’s Done”!
Who would have thought that we would be faced immediately following Executive Board 2020 with the Coronavirus. Many missionaries returned home with colds, including me. God made it possible for each of us to recover quickly. The Coronavirus is one that we have never seen in our lifetime.
The Women’s Missionary Council continues to advocate campaigns to reduce health disparities that will keep us apprised of health issues that are more adversely affecting the Black communities. Many African Americans are dying from this deadly virus.
In 2 Chronicles 7:14, it states “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land”! Remember God is watching each of us.
Please follow instructions that have been given by health officials. Stay inside, continue to pray for everyone, read God’s word. Please check on others! The world has changed and will never be the same again. Our health is more valuable than anything in this world.
The Women’s Missionary Council has lost a dedicated, Outstanding Christian and Missionary. “Miss Alice Lucille Martin, 103 years old.” “She has Gained Her Wings”! Final funeral arrangements will be shared upon completion. Please keep her family and Brown Memorial CME Church in prayer.
“May God Bless and Keep Each of you forever and ever”!
