In light of the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 Unity Summit, scheduled to be held in Dallas, Texas, August 31-Sept. 4, 2020, has been rescheduled for the year 2021.  The official dates for the Unity Summit 2021, which will convene in Dallas Texas, are August 28-September 3, 2021 (inclusive of the Connectional Lay Institute).

Also, this comes to announced that, pursuant to ¶1000.6, §2, of The Book of Discipline, Revised 2018, the 2020 General Connectional Board, previously scheduled for Dallas, Texas, during the week of the Unity Summit, will meet virtually on Friday, September 4, 2020, beginning at 9:00 A.M.

General Connectional Board members are requested to reserve the date of September 4th for the General Board meeting, and to expect a call for the Standing Committees and other committee meetings from the respective Chairs of each Standing Committee or the Senior Bishop for other committees.
