A CME Clergy Financial Literacy Initiative!
We are overjoyed to announce that the CME Church is the recipient of a 4-year ($1 million) grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc. The grant will fund a program to provide a financial literacy educational series to CME Clergy, as well as support a fund to provide direct aid to program participants. In keeping with the quadrennial theme, we are tagging this program as “BOLD Money Matters”! Over 400+ Clergy registered for the Spring and Fall 2023 Bold Money Matter$ Educational Series Sessions.

What You can expect:
- Access to live and recorded financial literacy sessions
- Presenter outlines/ resources
- Advanced sessions
- All eligible Clergy will have access to the direct aid application upon completion of all live courses within the educational series.
Ministerial Excellence Fund
Eligible participants who complete the live educational series will have the opportunity to apply for direct aid made possible through the Lilly Endowment Inc. and CME matching funds. Spring 2023, MEF awarded $70,000 to eligible Clergy and is prepared to distribute another $80,000 by the end of 2023. Eligible participants can apply by logging into their BMM online learning platform then clicking on the “Apply for M.E.F.” . Potential Donors click here to help raise our $600,000 MEF matching goal.
