The Episcopal Districts & College Of Bishops
The Bishops are the Chief Officers of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. They are elected for life by a majority vote of the General Conference which meets every four years. Bishops shall be retired at that General Conference nearest their 74th birthday. Bishop James B. Walker is the current Senior Bishop and Chief Executive Officer of the CME Church.
