Scott Jacqueline Isabel Scott is the tenth child (10) of eleven of the late Mr. James H. Isabel and Mrs. Dorothy M. Isabel. A graduate of LeMoyne Owen College, Jacqueline has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She further earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Memphis in Library Science (Education) and has completed extensive graduate studies at Cumberland University, Lebanon, Tennessee.She taught at Brownsville Road Elementary School as a Fourth and Fifth grade teacher, and retiring as Librarian in 2012. While teaching at Brownsville Road, she also served in the following capacities: Grade Chairman, Adopt-A-School Chairman, Discipline Committee, Acting Principal, United Way of Greater Memphis and the Courtesy Committee Chairman.Jacqueline is a member of Mt. Pisgah C. M. E. Church and has been a member for the past forty-one years. Currently at Mt. Pisgah, she is a member of the Mass Choir, the Mary Becton Missionary Circle, the Stewardess Board, a member of the Board of Christian Education, a former Sunday School teacher in the Children’s, and Youth Division, and a member of the William Davis Sunday School Class.Ms. Scott has served as president both locally and district wide before becoming president of the West Tennessee Region during te years 1995-2003. On the Council level, she served as Departmental Secretary of the Pauline B. Grant Status of Women 1995-2003, Division I Structure Leader 2003-2011, and 1st Episcopal District Missionary Institute Director since 2007-2015. On June 30, 2015, she was re-elected Vice President of the Women’s Missionary Council of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.Ms. Scott’s involvements are not only with the Missionary Society. She, also, works with a variety of community, and national organizations. (Coordinator, OCOS, Mt. Pisgah C.M.E Church) She is a member of Beta Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.Elected International President: Women’s Missionary Council on June 27, 2019.
