Bold Money Matters and the Department of Lay Ministries are partnering to offer an advanced financial literacy program for Clergy. This collaboration builds upon the foundational knowledge provided by the BMM educational series, aiming to equip clergy with more sophisticated financial management skills. Through comprehensive workshops, in-depth training sessions, and practical resources, clergy will gain expertise in budgeting, financial planning, and sustainable financial practices. This initiative not only enhances the financial well-being of clergy but also strengthens the economic stability of their congregations, empowering them to lead their communities more effectively.
This pilot session is open to all Clergy who have completed one of the BMM sessions from the Spring or Fall (having attended all 8 live sessions). However, just so you know, only 20 spots are available. Materials can be picked up at the Program Development Office table during the Unity Summit. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to secure your spot as soon as possible. If you are unable to attend all of the sessions, please do not register at this time. Registration will close once capacity is met.

Greetings, Brothers, and Sisters in Christ,
Some 10 million rural African Americans lack broadband internet, primarily in the South. They cannot use such essential services as online doctor visits, church services, school assignments, family connections, and voter registration. Thankfully, the Federal Communications Commission launched the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), providing nearly 18 million low-income households nationwide with resources to pay for necessary broadband service. The ACP offers eligible families a $30 monthly discount on high-speed internet services, making access free for many participants.
Here's what you can do:
1 - Forward to pastors in your network serving rural communities the "Get Connect" Information card below with a contact number and website for guidance through signing up for the ACP program.
To Apply Call 1 (877) 384-2575 or Visit www.GetInternet.gov/apply.
2. Encourage them to visit - https://www.skinnerleaders.org/getconnected to download the "Get Connected Toolkit."
