Presiding Bishop Charley Hames, Jr, of the 9th Episcopal District shared the following post and photos from the 7 Last Words of Christ on the Cross held at Beebe Memorial Cathedral in Oakland, CA (Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Kenneth Miller).
"Seven Last Words brought us both hope and challenge — exactly what we needed.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kenneth O. Miller and Pastor Rodney Smith for honoring Dr. Harold R. Mayberry and myself for founding these area-wide services 21 years ago.
Two decades of community, faith, and worship — and God is still good!"

Most Christians kneel down to say their prayers. They are trying to be in touch with God. But if they are Christians, they know that what is prompting them to pray is also God on the inside. They also know the real knowledge of God comes through Christ, the Man who was God-that is standing beside them, helping them to pray. Excerpt from "It's Prayer Time!" Book
#GC2026 STRATEGIC PRAYER
#COUNTDOWN 73 DAYS APRIL 1- JUNE 12
Week 14 Affirmation ~ Targets are time-critical. There is always an appropriate, strategic time for focusing on any target. Focusing on a target too late will allow that target to gain an advantage over you. Focusing on a target too soon won't fulfill the desired strategic results. Discernment of time-critical issues is vital to our success.
