Congratulations to Bishop Teresa E. Snorton, our Ecumenical Bishop and Development Officer, for her trailblazing leadership and remarkable legacy as a true history maker.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
--The following post is from the National Council of Churches--
Great ministries are measured by the lives they steady and the doors they open.
Bishop Teresa E. Snorton has spent her ministry strengthening the Church's witness for justice, healing, and faithful leadership. Through her service in the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church and the wider ecumenical community, she reminds us that the work of faith is not only preached from pulpits — it is lived through courage, scholarship, and unwavering service to others.
Her voice challenges the Church to stand with those seeking dignity, opportunity, and hope.
This is faith that leads.
This is faith that refuses silence.
